Give your maki new tricks — straight from your browser, in about a minute.
Plug in your MakiMode with its USB-C cable.
Quit the MakiMode Mac app if it's running (menu bar → Quit) — it holds the connection.
Click Update device below. In the popup, your MakiMode shows up as
"USB JTAG/serial debug unit" (a techy name, we know 🙈) — select it and connect.
Wait for the magic, then unplug & replug your maki — it wakes up updated. ✨

Works in Chrome and Edge on Mac & Windows. Your settings live in your account,
so nothing is lost. If the update is interrupted, just unplug, replug, and try again.
